Graham Rowe: CEO


Graham recently worked for a major South African insurance company, creating and implementing novel business strategies. Previously, Graham worked for one of South Africa's premier strategy consulting firms, assisting some of the country's most significant FMCG, logistics, insurance and manufacturing players to develop and implement winning strategies. Prior to his involvement in the corporate arena he worked as a genetics researcher at the University of Cape Town (UCT, South Africa's foremost research university) studying local plant biodiversity and speciation dynamics. Graham holds an MSc (cum laude) in Genetics from UCT. His dissertation research utilised coalescent techniques to test speciation-history hypotheses for an indigenous plant species pair using DNA sequence data.

 

 

 

Richard Johnson: COO


Richard has 10 years experience at the world's largest global management and technology consultancy. As a technology consultant he has led large-scale projects and advised clients on IT strategy, system implementations, process engineering, customer care systems and software development. Richard holds an Honours degree (cum laude) in joint Biochemistry and Computer Science from Rhodes University and an MBA (cum laude) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science. His MBA dissertation focused on consumer responses to genetic testing and generated a novel adoption model for the industry.

 

 

 

Prof. David Segal: CMO


Prof. Segal is one of South Africa’s leading endocrinologists. After completing his medical degree at Wits, Prof. Segal worked in the Pediatrics department at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He subsequently completed a fellowship at Indiana University in pediatric endocrinology and diabetes. He runs his own paediatric endocrinology practice and lectures extensively on diabetes. David is responsible for clinical oversight, training and care process design.
